Adventure Pack

Mamacita was happy to greet her friend Griff when we picked him up this morning. She usually just lies at the back of the packmobile as we pick up her packmates for the hike, but when Griff joined us she stood up and came to the doorway with her tail wagging and her nose stuck out as far as she could reach. Early on in the hike, a praying mantis decided to climb onto my leg while I was picking up after Rucksack. The dogs didn't react to it. I brushed it off when it started making it's way up my shirt. Griff and Rucksack enjoyed exploring off the trail a bit while Sputnik and Mamacita stayed on leash at my side. Much like yesterday, the dogs were pretty mellow and mostly seemed focused on making their way up the trail, without much energy to spare for running around or acting silly.

Variety Pack

Colby, Zoey, Stella, and Coco enjoyed a light hike at the CU South Campus trails this afternoon. It was a calm, leisurely walk with only a couple encounters with other dogs when we first set out and when we got back to the parking lot. Despite our leisurely pace, Stella showed her age as she lagged behind a bit.
