Adventure Pack

Avo, Sputnik, and Mamacita walked the Bear Creek Path together this morning. Sputnik pulled off the trail a lot in the first 15 minutes - and left scent marks every time - but then didn't interrupt our pace again for the rest of the walk. Avo noticed every squirrel there was to notice, and got very excited about them. Mamacita trotted along dutifully behind me, acting as the anchor for the pack.

Variety Pack

The pack headed to the Valmont Dog Park this afternoon. Poppy, Zoey, Roger Roger, and Rey all started running around with each other right off the bat. Dylan entered the park with more composure, and spent most of his time sniffing around the park and greeting the other dogs there. Roger Roger quickly found a tennis ball and played lots of fetch throughout. After the initial flurry, Zoey joined Dylan and sniffed around with him for a while. Rey found her Pit Bull friend and the two of them wrestled. Poppy went for some sprints, and got Zoey, Rey, and Roger Roger all to run after her, along with some other dogs at the park. Dylan looked to be on the verge of breaking out into playful moves with a couple of the dogs with whom he sniffed hello, but they didn't quite connect. Later on, Dylan took an interest in chasing after tennis balls along with Roger Roger and Zoey. He ran after a few throws, but was quick to turn the other way if he saw someone else was going to beat him to it. Near the end of our visit, Dylan and Poppy rolled around in the grass at the north end of the park while Zoey and Roger Roger raced each other for a tennis ball and Rey sniffed around on her own.
