Adventure Pack

Nelly and Ruffers strolled along with me while Tozai and Bear frolicked together in the field beside the trail. At one point, Tozai was so caught up in tackling Bear that he was ignoring me when I called to him - not only that, his onslaught kept interrupting Bear's attempts to come when called - so Tozai's turn off leash ended a bit early. Bear then kept Ruffers company as the two of them followed a bit behind me, Nelly, and Tozai. Nelly pulled off to the side every now and then to sniff around a bit, but mostly just walked in place beside me.

Variety Pack

The boys made a lot of long stops to sniff in the tall grass along the edge of the trail at CU South this afternoon. There were a lot of near misses as Carl, Dylan, Griff, Lumi, and Alfie each took their turns marking while the others were often still sniffing the same spot. Dylan panted pretty hard when we went up the first hill but then kept a surprisingly steady pace up the hill just after the footbridge. A very friendly dog came over and sniffed hello with the pack as we were walking the last stretch back to the packmobile. His human laughingly narrated, "OK, you're all my best friends now," as he stood in the middle of the pack with a big smile and gently-wagging tail.
