Adventure Pack

Ruffers, Carl, Racer, and Griff all took their time sniffing in the brush around the Chautauqua trail head this morning. The trails themselves were relatively busy today. When we hit a stretch of open trail without other hikers, Ruffers and Carl did some chasing and wrestling with each other, while Racer and Griff hiked along at my sides.

Variety Pack

The pack were all very excited to go to the Valmont Dog Park this afternoon. Avo climbed the tree. Imogene chased Rey. Zoey and Mamacita sniffed around the big, old tree stumps that are still there. After that, Imogene became pretty focused on playing fetch with a tennis ball. Avo chased after a few throws, but mostly just sprinted around the park to see who would chase her. Rey obliged much of the time, and the pair of them gave each other a good workout. The pack met an intact Redbone Coonhound who was especially interested in Mamacita. Mamacita enjoyed the attention, and hopped around playfully with him for a long while.
