Adventure Pack

Rey was in and out of Boulder Creek at our first stop, while Griff, Arlo, and Racer lingered in the water for as long as I let them. Arlo did his usual bows to dunk his underside; Racer chomped at the surface of the water; Griff just stood and enjoyed the feeling of the water rushing past him. We found a spot further down the creek where the water was deep enough for the dogs to swim right by the bank. The current swept them downstream pretty swiftly. Griff climbed back up the bank; Racer and Rey fought against the current for a bit before returning to dry land; Arlo stayed closest to the bank and didn't really get caught up in the current.

Variety Pack

Gidget, Carl, Blu, and Tozai waited out the thunderstorm that passed through this afternoon, then headed out for a stroll around Wonderland Lake. It was nice and cool after the rain with the skies still cloudy. There were a lot of birds out and about. Carl was interested in some sparrows on the north side of the pond, while Blu got worked up over some magpies who were hanging out on and around the sidewalk on the south side. There were also a ton of rabbits running around, and Tozai couldn't help himself but to lunge at a couple of ones that let us get close before they took off. All the while, Gidget was just following along in place without looking for any trouble with the wildlife.
