Adventure Pack Yoshi and Lucy roamed the fields around Red Rocks Trail on our way up the mountain while Lou and Tozai trekked along at my sides. Lucy seemed to be in hunting mode, scanning the landscape for critters to chase after, while Yoshi was sniffing his way along the trail. Even though the air temperature was a bit cooler today, the sun was out and beating down on us, so we spent the latter part of the outing strolling Boulder Creek Path, with a quick dip in the water

Adventure Pack Arlo, Griff, Rey, and Racer headed up Red Rocks Trail under grey skies. Either Arlo heard faint, distant rumbles of thunder or he is just sensitive to the kind of weather that heralds it, because he was very hesitant to go up the mountain and kept rearing back. He didn't totally shut down the way he has done when there are nearby cracks of thunder or fireworks, and I was able to get him to keep going.
