Adventure Pack

Nelly, Yoshi, Tozai, and Lou headed to Chautauqua for their hike today. We followed the same routine as on pack outings earlier this week, of long sniff breaks on Baseline Trail while leashes got tangled. Yoshi and Tozai got some wrestling in when they went off leash together on an empty stretch of trail. Neither Nelly nor Lou made any moves to get involved in the roughhousing. We stopped for a brief visit with our OSMP volunteer friends at the trail head at the end of the hike, and the dogs all drank their fill from the water bowl at the spigot. Nelly and Lou shared the bowl at the end, until Lou had enough and left it to Nelly to finish off.

Variety Pack

Alfie and Carl strolled around Wonderland Lake this afternoon. We saw a few rabbits along the way, and Alfie really lost it over them. It didn't help that they would wait until we were about 5 feet away before they bolted. Alfie and Carl also both were pretty interested in the other dogs we passed by, including one little guy who wiggled his way up to sniff hello.
