Variety Pack

Jen joined the pack for an afternoon hike at the Chautauqua, with Ruffers, Dylan, Rey, Lou and Racer. Dylan and Ruffers stuck closer to the pack than usual during the first half of our hike but they drifted toward their respective posts at the lead and at the rear later on. Racer and Rey both pulled a fair bit, following their noses across the snowy terrain. Lou walked right along with me as usual. She and Rey perked up at the sight of other dogs on the trail, but didn't pull. Dylan and Ruffers calmly greeted other dogs. Racer only showed any interest in a black Lab who came right up to her while passing by.
