Adventure Pack

Nelly bounced around next to Ruffers while Bear and Tozai wrestled each other in the snowy field beside the trail. Bear lost his seasonal bandana in the fray with Tozai, and I luckily noticed it in the snow. When I was trying to tie it back on him, Nelly got so excited that she started running in circles around me, chasing Tozai. Ruffers kept up well throughout the hike. The snow on Bluebell Road was mostly melted away today, and everybody ended up with a layer of muck on their legs and chests from the resulting mud.

Variety Pack

Alfie, Lumi, Lou, Carl, Griff, and Dylan headed to CU South this afternoon. Thankfully, the trails there were not particularly muddy. The pack came away with no more than some little chunks stuck to their paws. Everybody did a whole lot of sniffing and milling about when we first hit the trail, which required a lot of leash shuffling. Once we got on the move in earnest, they all held formation pretty well. When we were loading back into the packmobile after, a couple other dogs stopped by for greetings. Carl, Dylan, and Lou were already in the car, but Alfie, Lumi, and Griff were all happy to take a minute to sniff hello.
