Adventure Pack
Lou, Carl, Tozai, Lucy, and Alfie walked Boulder Creek Path today. It didn't feel as hot as I was expecting, perhaps because the smoke in the air is diffusing the sunlight. The dogs got into the creek at Boulder Creek Park (what used to be called Central Park, where the library is). Carl got to mark the usual trees at Eben G. Fine Park on the way out but had to skip one on the way back because people were standing around it. The pack received some compliments on their good behavior as we had a pretty uneventful stroll. Lucy was interested in a duck and a goose that were hanging out at the edge of the kids' fishing pond, but she only pulled a little bit and didn't lunge. Lou kept pace without any of her sudden holdups. Alfie and Tozai trotted side-by-side and made occasional stops to sniff and mark bushes or trees at the edge of the path.
