Adventure Pack
There were a lot of hikers out at Shanahan Ridge taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather - mostly humans, but some dogs as well. Rey, Bear, Ruffers, and Tozai sniffed hello with a friendly Golden Retriever who came up from behind us and then wagged his way right into the middle of everybody before taking off. We kept on the move pretty steadily, aside from a couple times when Ruffers made it clear she wanted to pull over and check things out.
Variety Pack
Teo joined as the pack headed to Goose Creek Greenway - where we rarely encounter other dogs, so Teo is relatively manageable. He was still very focused on the many bicyclists who passed by, but I can keep him from trying to jump at them by taking him off the side of the path a bit. He and Alfie were a bit more interested in the prairie dogs today but just watched and pulled a bit without lunging. Lou and Dylan didn't mind the slow pace we took as I kept slowing or stopping to address Teo and Alfie. Carl also handled the slow and sporadic pace well without trying to pull ahead at all.
