Adventure Pack

Carl joined Bear, Tozai, and Rey in the water instead of staying on the stone steps during our first water stop at Eben G. Fine Park. Someone commented that the dogs were a variety pack due to their different sizes and coats. I didn't correct him that the Variety Pack was actually coming out later in the day, though the thought crossed my mind. Everyone got in the creek again a bit further along, to cool off some more on this extra hot day.

Variety Pack

The temp just touched 100 F when I drove the pack down to Boulder Creek for the afternoon walk, but it climbed to 103 F as we got to downtown. With such brutal heat, we just made a quick trip out to the nearest spot where the dogs could get into the water, then headed back. Kona at least stepped in with her front paws and took a drink, while Lou and Lumi got soaked, and Alfie waded around on his stilts for legs. Lumi and Alfie were not fans of a skateboarder who went by as we were walking through Eben G. Fine Park.
