Adventure Pack

Racer, Rey, Arlo, and Griff took their time moseying along Baseline Trail and checking out all the scents along the way. Leashes got tangled as each of them had their own idea of the best order and angle of approach for the variety of points of interest at every stop. When the pack wasn't sniffing around together, Arlo kept stopping in shaded spots, even though it wasn't particularly hot out today. Rey and Griff roamed the Chautauqua meadow on opposite sides of the trail, both sticking pretty close by. By the end of the hike, Griff, Rey, and Arlo were sticking to my sides on the trail, but Racer was still drawn by her nose to go off trail through the brush much of the time.

Variety Pack

We arrived at Valmont Dog Park with a tennis ball in hand (well, in Chuckit!), so Carl didn't need to go searching for one and could instead get right to fetching. We made our way to the grassy north end of the park, where Tozai found a friend to chase and wrestle with. Lumi took his time sniffing along the perimeter of the park and then went for a roll in the grass. A young pup joined us and said hello to the pack and then ran around with Tozai and his friend. We migrated across the park and then Tozai and Lumi got into a good romp with each other, while Carl continued to play fetch throughout.
