Adventure Pack

Racer put her nose to work throughout our hike at Shanahan Ridge, sniffing grass, shrubs, and trees pretty much constantly. Arlo and Griff did a bit of sniffing and marking here and there and enjoyed kicking up dirt to punctuate their work. Rey was in a mellow mood today. She and Griff didn't roam far at all when they were off leash together and were quick to return for treat time.

Variety Pack

Dylan, Milo, Tozai, Lumi, and Carl had a great time at Valmont Dog Park this afternoon. Tozai made friends with a Weimaraner right off the bat and spent most of his time playing with him. I found a tennis ball for Carl before too long. He actually started bringing his ball over to some other park patrons so they could throw it for him. Lumi sprinted around a couple different times - once on his own, and once as part of a big chase that Tozai and Milo were also in on. A little later, Milo nose-poked at Lumi until Lumi played with him some. Dylan was happy to greet all the dogs and people. He got excited about a couple of the dogs, but not as worked up as with that young Golden Retriever he recently met.
