Adventure Pack

I guess the ditch along Bluebell Road has finally lost its charm for Racer. She only pulled over to sniff in it a couple times, and not for long. The rest of the pack passed by without much interest either. Griff and Arlo and Rey got a bit worked up when an off-leash dog with a ball started to approach the pack as we were first heading of Bluebell Road. We encountered another dog a short bit further up the trail, who approached with a less direct and imposing energy, and the pack sniffed hello calmly. Griff and Rey roamed through the field beside Bluebell-Mesa Trail. When they wandered out of sight, Rey came back promptly to my call while Griff took a minute. I think he was trying to take a shortcut to meet us around the bend.

Variety Pack

We entered the park with a Chuckit! that was pre-loaded with a ball, so Carl was able to get to fetching right away. Alfie and Tozai ran up to the nearest dog and then the three of them went on a chase. Alfie and Tozai then just ran with each other for a bit before finding more friends to romp with them. The Bassett Hound we saw Tuesday was at the park again today. She raced Carl for some of the shorter throws of the ball, but didn't bother when it was a long one. Whenever she beat Carl to the ball, she would just stand with it for a minute, drop it, then come back without it. Carl would then diligently go back out, snatch up the ball, and bring it back for the next throw.
