Adventure Pack

Griff took point on the trail while Archie ran back and forth between him and the rest of us. Other hikers were amused by Archie's happy-go-lucky spirit as he bounced over to them to sniff hello. Arlo and Racer made hard stops at the small creek we crossed over on the connector trail to the 3rd Flatiron and Royal Arch fork. There were a few other times Arlo made hard stops, as he was very interested in munching on grass today.

Variety Pack

A persistent breeze swept across Wonderland Lake as the pack approached along the trail from Broadway. It was slow progress, with Sanni and Lumi frequently pulling over to either side to sniff and mark various patches of grass. Some more notable landmarks - such as fences and signposts - received the same attention. Carl and Archie weren't the ones initiating the sniff stops, but they were quick to join in and make their own contributions as well.
