Adventure Pack

Racer, Imogene, Griff, and Arlo headed to Shanahan Ridge, where the trails were far less busy than yesterday. I guess a 25 degree F difference has that effect. The dogs were very interested in all the smells to be found near the trail head, so it took us a while before we really got moving. After the first stretch, though, we kept up a pretty steady pace. Imogene chewed a few stubby sticks. Arlo was not as interested in that today. Racer and Griff are never really that into sticks, and that trend continued today.

Variety Pack

Carl, Dylan, Tozai, and Rey headed to Bear Creek Greenway for their afternoon jaunt. It was a quiet time out. Dylan wanted to make a few stops as we passed alongside Martin Park early on. Tozai was kicking up dirt and grass after marking spots today, which is a habit I don't recall seeing him engage in much before. Carl also did some kicking after peeing, but he had much less impact on the turf. Rey sniffed a bit with the rest of the pack, but not as intently as the others. Tozai didn't harass her at all as they walked side-by-side, which was a change in pace from their morning hikes together.
