Adventure Pack

Griff and Racer lagged a bit as we headed up Bluebell Road in the heat, but for the first time in a while Racer didn't insist on stopping to sniff in the ditch every ten feet. Arlo and Racer had their fill of water at the trail head, while Griff and Imogene skipped it; however, everyone was happy to take drinks from the CamelBak each time we stopped in the shade along the way after that.

Variety Pack

It took a while before we found a ball for Carl to fetch at Valmont Dog Park today. While we were on the hunt for one, we came across a dog who looked so much like a young Dylan. That dog hung around with Carl and Tozai for a bit, along with a comical Basset Hound. Once we found a ball for fetch, the Basset Hound was even more vocal about his desire for me to throw it than Carl was, but he didn't even chase after the ball half the time. Tozai joined in for the fetching, which we played from a home base in the shade. On the way out of the park, Tozai met up with the two Old English Sheepdogs we've seen before. He had some fun wrestling around with the more playful of the pair, as well as with a Bernese Mountain Dog we've been seeing at the park sometimes.
