Adventure Pack

Bear stopped in the shade along Baseline Trail and lay down for a bit while Lucy and Tozai surveyed the landscape and sniffed around, respectively. Once we were up the mountain on Bluebell-Baird Trail, Lucy took off into the adjacent field in a manner that would make you think she was raised by a herd of deer. The amount of air she got in her four-legged, springy, forward hops would have impressed her sister, Nelly. Tozai watched Lucy from the edge of the trail without pursuing. After she scrutinized every inch of the area, Lucy returned to the trail and then Tozai chased her around a bit, while Bearmoseyed along at my side.

Variety Pack

Griff, Carl, Alfie, and Lumi took turns marking the trail marker boulder along Bear Creek Greenway. Scarlett did not join in the boys' leg-lifting ritual. A motorized skateboard zipped by us a little further down the way, and Scarlett gave it a stern, shrill bark. Griff and Alfie, who are usually chill about passers-by, both got a bit puffed up and woofed in solidarity with their littlest packmate. Lumi was too busy enjoying himself - rolling in the grass without a care in the world - to partake in the scolding of the skateboarder; Carl was standing right next to Scarlett but didn't offer any audible support to the cause.
