Adventure Pack

Lucy and Bear were pretty mellow during their off-leash time together. Meanwhile, Tozai was watching them like a hawk, ready to try to dive in at the slightest sign of rambunctiousness. He got his turn off leash with Ruffers after that, and entertained himself with sticks he found while Ruffers took her time sniffing points of interest, and Bear and Lucy hiked along at my sides. Tozai tried to stir things up with them a few times, and listened well when I instructed him to leave them be while they were on leash. In the packmobile before and after the hike, Tozai and Lucy spent the whole time chewing on each other.

Variety Pack

Carl abdicated his duties as lead sniffer today, and the mantle was taken up by both Dylan and Alfie, who both made a lot of stops to check things out. Carl was still eager to join in when his packmates found something of note, but he wasn't the one leading the charge. Griff and Lumi were also happy to partake in the olfactory investigations. On the return leg of the walk along Bear Creek Greenway, Alfie, Griff, and Carl were all on the same page about making more sniff stops, while Dylan and Lumi seemed to have had their fill and just stood by while their packmates poked around.
