Adventure Pack

After our last pickup of the morning, we saw a herd of deer walking through Tozai's neighborhood. Tozai and Lucy both woofed at them. The trails at Chautauqua did not have deer, so Tozai and Lucy occupied themselves with some chasing and tackling. After a bit of that, Lucy pounced at things stirring under the brush, and at a butterfly on the trail. She came very close to the butterfly but it narrowly escaped. Ruffers and Bear were ok with going up Bluebell Road in the cooler, cloudier weather, then followed their usual routine of hanging behind to sniff around together when they got some time off leash a bit later.

Variety Pack

There was a brief rain shower before our afternoon outing, and then the rain held off as Griff, Carl, and Alfie walked Bear Creek Greenway. Carl led the sniffing at all the usual stops and a few other random places along the way. Griff generally followed in place right by my side, as always, but he was drawn pretty readily by Carl's enthusiasm for the points of interest, as was Alfie. Alfie got very excited about a squirrel who scaled a nearby tree as we were making out way back through Martin Park towards the packmobile, and tried to leap after it a few times.
