Adventure Pack

Clover and Monarch joined Sputnik and Mamacita for a hike on the Red Rocks Spurs this morning. Sputnik started off the hike in a grumpy mood, similar to yesterday, and growled at the first dog that walked by the car after we parked. I kept him on a short leash the couple times we passed other dogs on the trails, and didn't give him a chance to get too worked up about them. There was one Golden Retriever whom Clover very much wanted to say hello to, so we lingered briefly to let them sniff each other. Everyone was panting pretty heavily by the end of the hike, but Clover and Monarch didn't want to take any water from the CamelBak. We took a long rest in the shade by Boulder Creek before looping through the park and making our way back to the packmobile.

Variety Pack

Zoey, Benny, and Oliver walked around Wonderland Lake this afternoon. We started off at a pretty slow pace as Benny took a while to get into it and get moving, Zoey wanted to sniff around here and there, and Oliver stopped to relieve himself. After a slow start, we picked things up to a swifter pace around the Lake. We stopped for a few breaks in the shade along the way, and Benny lay down in the grass at one spot while Zoey sniffed around more and Oliver stood and waited to get going again.
