Friday Pack Activities (1/20/2023)

Lou, Ruffers, Dylan and Rey headed out to Shanahan Ridge this afternoon for a snowy hike. The trail wasn't nearly as full of dogs as it has been during the Adventure Pack's midday hikes there, but we still encountered a handful of other hikers. There was plenty of yellow snow around, which the dogs investigated and expanded upon. Rey kept wanting to pounce on Dylan after seeing Dylan run ahead or roll around in the snow. She had her opportunity when Dylan returned to get leashed up near the end of our hike, and she tackled him with gusto. Dylan dodged away and then I had to convince him that I would keep Rey at bay so he could actually come get his leash on. Rey was apparently satisfied with her one good ambush, and let Dylan approach unmolested after that.
