Adventure Pack

With the wildfire smoke in the air, the pack kept to a slow pace along Boulder Creek for their outing. Tozai and Lucy enjoyed a bit of wrestling and chewing on each other in the packmobile on the way there, while Imogene and Ruffers did their best to keep their distances from the impetuous pups. At the beginning of the walk, Lucy and Tozai pulled ahead a bit. By the time we started the return leg, they had both settled better into walking alongside me, Imogene, and Ruffers. Tozai briefly attempted to get Imogene to jump around with him right as we started heading back, and she obliged until I got their attentions and got them back on track.

Variety Pack

Buddy, Gidget, Blu, Carl, and Lumi also headed to Boulder Creek Path for their afternoon stroll. Even though the temperature was in the 90's F, it felt cooler with the atmospheric haze of smoke dissipating the sun's rays. Still, everybody enjoyed a couple stops in the water. Everyone was pretty mellow. Buddy didn't roll around or torpedo across the grass at any point during today's walk, and Lumi didn't roll in the dirt after getting out of the water. We just poked along the path, stopping here and there when one or another pack member wanted to take a moment to sniff something. Sometimes others joined in, sometimes they just hung out on the path until we were ready to start moving again.
