Adventure Pack
Yoshi ignored Tozai's first attempts to get him to play on the trails today. He just turned his head as Tozai poked and prodded at him. I interrupted Tozai and told him he had to invite Yoshi to play rather than trying to bully him into it. Yoshi was completely on the same page. Once Tozai respected his space a bit more and started making playful moves in front of him instead, Yoshi was happy to oblige, and the two of them enjoyed some chasing and wrestling. Nelly ventured off into the tall grass of the Chautauqua meadow repeatedly, but kept on trail more once we were heading up and over the mountain. Meanwhile, Lou was following the Ruffers routine of registering an interesting scent a few paces after passing it, then stopping hard to retrace her steps and investigate further.
Variety Pack
Alfie, Griff, Dylan, Carl, and Ruffers walked Bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. It was a similar temperature to the rest of the week - just a few degrees cooler - but the sun was behind clouds, so it felt a lot cooler. That was good news for Dylan, who panted heavily as usual but didn't struggle to keep up a regular pace with the pack. Alfie looked concerned about a skateboarder who went by us at one point, but he didn't make any moves. Ruffers, Griff, and Carl all trotted along in formation. Our stops were few and brief. It was a cool, calm, pleasant outing.
