Adventure Pack

Teo, Lou, Tozai, and Nelly headed up Ski Jump Trail after making their way through Chautauqua Meadow. Teo's self-control seems to be gradually continuing to improve but he still gets very worked up when other dogs go by, so we moved away from the intersection and waited for a minute to let a dog through before we got onto Ski Jump. When we passed other dogs later in the hike, we pulled over to the side of the trail. Lou, Tozai, and Nelly all provided a good example to Teo by just sniffing around calmly in the grass and brush while the other dogs passed. The three of them all drank some water from the CamelBak, but Teo wasn't interested. He did join his packmates once to sniff around a bit and relieve himself, which is progress for him considering how on-edge he has been in the past.

Variety Pack

Alfie, Carl, Lumi, Milo, and Ruffers strolled Bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. We encountered a few dogs who barked at us as we went by, and the pack all remained totally calm and composed. Aside from a few trees in Martin Park and the trail marker boulders, we kept on the move pretty steadily. It's time to start getting used to it being chillier for the afternoon outing than it is for the hike since daylight savings has shifted sunset an hour earlier.
