Adventure Pack

Dylan continued to enjoy the snow while his packmates stayed upright and observed. There were several points of interest today that drew the noses of Nelly, Dylan, Yoshi and Lou all together. The first was a big rock, which Yoshi marked. Next was a small pine shrub in the snow. Later, there was another small pine tree that got everyone's attentions. Nelly was in a mood for off-roading today, and spent most of the hike off the side of the trail rather than staying in usual formation.

Variety Pack

Buddy, Carl, Yoshi and Ruffers trekked the muddy trails around Wonderland Lake this afternoon. There were a lot of other dogs out for walks, so we frequently moved off beside the trail to let them pass. When we were stopped at the side of the trail, Yoshi and Buddy did a good job of keeping calm. If we were on the move, they would both try to pull ahead and over to the other dog. Carl, on the other hand, barked at many of the passing dogs today, which is unusual for him. Ruffers was calm and pleasant as she typically is. She made a couple very determined stops along the way, when there was something she wanted to sniff, and otherwise she just trotted along nicely.
