Adventure Pack

Nelly, Lou, Dylan and Yoshi got snowed on while hiking at the Chautauqua today. We saw some other dogs on the trail, and Yoshi pulled toward them as they walked by. He got especially animated when he saw a Border Collie who was running around with the wide-eyed intensity Border Collies tend to have. Nelly wanted to pull over to the side of the trail a lot on our way up, initiating sniff breaks in which everyone happily partook. No panting from Dylan in the colder weather. Lou actually sat in place while I backed up to take today's pack photo, and it was Nelly who I had to keep redirecting back to the group when she would try to walk up to me.

Variety Pack

The pack headed to Bear Creek Greenway for our afternoon walk, with snow still falling. Carl, Ruffers, Arlo, Lumi and Racer all had their coats pretty well soaked. There were few others out walking and bicycling on the path, and no other canines encountered by us. The snow wasn't accumulated enough and was too wet for the dogs to enjoy it. Everyone got toweled off upon our return to the packmobile.
