Adventure Pack

The trails were already mostly dry today after the mid-week snowfall. We came across some soft spots, but Ski Jump Trail - which often is a mess after heavy precipitation - wasn't slick at all. Yoshi and Tozai had a blast chasing and tackling each other there. Nelly was occupied with sniffing around the trails and didn't get worked up about her packmates' play the way she sometimes has. Lou didn't relish the uphill travel of the first part of the hike. She took her time early on but kept up more steadily once we were traveling horizontally and then back downhill. The trails were full of people, which was a big contrast from just a couple days ago.

Variety Pack

Carl, Viv, Rey, and Alfie strolled Boulder Creek Path this afternoon. The family of geese is still hanging out by the Kids' Fishing Pond, and they hissed at us again when we passed, even though none of the dogs made any movements towards them. There were some downed branches along the path, and one pile in particular drew all the dogs in for thorough scrutiny, which involved several minutes of intense sniffing from the whole party.
