Adventure Pack

We just made a pit stop at the stream before turning around and heading up Gregory Canyon Trail today. Nelly was happy not to have to figure out how to cross, and just stayed dry on the bank while her packmates got wet. Lou lay in the water; Tozai and Yoshi waded around restlessly. On Gregory Canyon Trail, Yoshi and Tozai scrambled over the rocks as they chased each other. Nelly and Lou took their time on leash with me. We were mostly in the shade, so the heat wasn't too bad.

Variety Pack

Lumi was the only pack member who was interested in getting into Boulder Creek at the start of our walk this afternoon. After standing in the rushing water for a minute and then getting out, he promptly put his shoulder down and rubbed himself in the dirt while I re-arranged leashes so we could get on the move again. Buddy didn't try to tackle any ankles during the walk today. Ruffers was greeted by a crew of teenagers at Eben G. Fine Park, who are apparently family friends. Alfie kept his cool when they came over to say hello to his packmate. Carl, on the other hand, immediately started barking at them. Ruffers stood in place for a long moment after they were done saying hi, as she just wanted to soak up more love and attention from the familiars.
