Bonus Pack

Our newest pack member, Beso joined Alfie and Yoshi for a stroll to Wonderland Lake this morning! Beso is a Bernese Mountain Dog who is only about 15 weeks old so she's just dipping her toes in hanging out with the big dogs. She did great on our walk. At the start, she kept trying to bound in front of Alfie, but before long she was trotting in place beside him and only pulling ahead slightly. Between the three of them, Beso did the best posing for the pack photo; but Alfie actually looked at the camera, which is better than average for him.

Adventure Pack

Nelly hung out on the stone steps while Yoshi, Tozai, and Lou did their best to enjoy the dwindling water level of Boulder Creek. We had a pretty calm and quiet walk. Lou wanted to make a few stops early on to sniff and mark whereas Nelly initiated more of the stops on the return leg. Yoshi and Tozai didn't press for many stops themselves, but were happy to lift their legs whenever they had the opportunity.

Variety Pack

Lumi lay in the Boulder Creek to get a decent soak this afternoon, but even then, the water didn't come up to his shoulders. Meanwhile, Lucy, Alfie, and Carl splashed around a little, with Alfie only getting his toes wet despite going the furthest out from the bank. When we were walking down Boulder Creek Path, a squirrel skittered up a tree right beside us. Lucy and Alfie both jumped in response, and Lucy stayed up on her hind legs for an extended moment, carefully watching ever movement of the squirrel above. Alfie kept staring back over his shoulder as we moved along. Carl marked so many random spots today in addition to his favorite trees.
