Adventure Pack

Rey and Tozai bounded up and down Ski Jump Trail together on our chilly midday hike. Bear was feeling playful today and pounced at his packmates when they came close. When he was off leash with Ruffers later in the hike, he was more mellow and just sniffed around. He was leading the way at first but then he fell behind whilst sniffing some point of interest near the branch point between the flatiron trails. I ended up back-tracking to gather him up as he was very fixated on whatever he had found and wasn't coming when I called him. Even Ruffers - who takes her time to investigate - had caught up to the back while we were waiting on Bear.

Variety Pack

Lou, Carl, and Alfie strolled bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. We made the usual stop at the first tree by the parking lot at Martin Park. When we got to the trail marker boulder, everybody took their time checking out the area. Lou and Carl did me the favor of doing their business immediately beside a trash bin, which made disposal especially quick and easy. There was a racoon hanging out in the ditch beside the trail at one point, but the dogs didn't take notice. It was down below the level of the path and I only saw it because a woman had paused to observe the critter, and I followed her line of sight.
