Bonus Pack
Racer, Gidget, Arlo, and Blu strolled to Wonderland Lake this morning. The air was brisk as the dogs sniffed the snow-draped landscape. It was pretty quiet at the lake, save for the song of a red-feathered blackbird who was perched atop a nearby stalk of wheat. Racer and Blu wanted to make some stops early on, and then we kept on the move pretty steadily for the rest of the walk.
Adventure Pack
The whole pack was very interested in the ditch along Bluebell Road at the beginning of our hike. We paused a few times along the way, and everybody spent a while sniffing when we did. Ruffers and Rey both wanted to backtrack to investigate scents after we had passed by them. Ruffers lingered behind a bit during her off-leash time, while Rey bounced back and forth between keeping Ruffers company and running up ahead of everyone. Tozai and Bear did a lot of wrestling. It was mostly Tozai leaping in and poking at Bear, and then Bear chasing him off.
Variety Pack
Lou, Griff, Lumi, Carl, Dylan, and Alfie headed to Bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. It was significantly warmer than during the earlier walks, which had Dylan panting from the get-go. Despite that, Dylan and Lou did not initiate any hard stops today. It probably helped that we were ambling along at a very measured pace. Carl got a bit grumbly about a couple other dogs we passed along the way. Griff and Alfie enjoyed kicking up some grass after leaving their marks in various places. Lumi, on the other hand, emptied the tank on just two long pee breaks. One of those was at the trail marker boulder, which was given christening rites by the entire pack.
