Adventure Pack
Bear, Rey, Ruffers, and Tozai head up Woods Quarry from Mesa Trail today. There was a light sprinkle as we were on our way up the mountain. We took shelter next to a big tree when the rain got a little heavier for a few minutes. Tozai and Bear enjoyed some chasing and wrestling after that. Despite still being in recovery from a paw injury and only being of leash with mellow Ruffers, Rey ran around in the grass on her own a bit while Ruffers and the rest of us watched from the trail.
Variety Pack
The pack was super full today with Alfie, Nelly, Lucy, Lou, Lumi, Carl, Ruffers and Dylan! With Jen handling Carl, Ruffers, and Dylan, we all strolled Goose Creek Greenway. Skies were clearer than earlier in the day. While everyone was sniffing around the grassy hillside, reliable Lumi lay out to relax. Lou soon joined him in stretching out, so we gathered everyone into place around them for the afternoon pack photo. The prairie dogs were active today, which caught the attention of Alfie, Lucy, and Nelly. Ruffers insisted on stopping and waiting for the rest of us whenever their group got ahead, while Carl and Dylan would have been content to leave us in their dust.
