Adventure Pack

We made our way up Chautauqua Trail at a very gentle pace today, as Ruffers and Rey both wanted to take their time. While we went slow, we kept a steady pace after the typical sniffing along Baseline Trail. With the overcast skies, Bear was a lot more willing to keep on the move without seeking breaks in the shade. Tozai bumped and chewed at Bear as they jogged down Ski Jump Trail together. They both did a good job of returning to me when I called them back to let some other hikers pass by without getting knocked into by careless, wrestling pups.

Variety Pack

A brief shower passed through right before Alfie, Lou, Carl, and Lumi set out for a walk at Bear Creek Greenway. The rain held off while we walked, only to begin again during our post-walk drop-offs. Alfie and Carl barked at a woman who stopped to ask about the dogs and my business. Meanwhile, Lumi promptly sat when I was directing Alfie to do so, and Lou just looked back and forth between me and the woman, probably wondering if she was about to get belly rubs from a new friend. Although Alfie settled down and eventually sat, I did not invite the woman over to say hello and test him.
