Monday Pack Activities (5/6/2024)

Adventure Pack

We inched along Baseline Trail at the beginning of our hike, bouncing from one side of the trail to the other, as everyone was very interested in the scents to be found along the way. It was very windy around the trail head. Once we were up Chautauqua Trail, Bear and Rey chased each other around through the fields. Dylan and Ruffers spent their off-leash time leisurely following up from the rear as we wrapped around and headed down the mountain. We avoided the wind when we were up in the mountains, but were hit by it at our backs as we made our way back down Chautauqua Trail.

Variety Pack

There continued to be some big gusts of wind as Milo, Carl, Lou, and Alfie walked along Bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. Hardly anyone was out on the path today. Aside from the obligatory stop at the boulders by the basketball courts, the pack was happy to keep on the move, without really lingering anywhere else along the way. Alfie and Carl both marked the boulders a couple times, and Alfie kicked up some grass to punctuate each instance. Lou and Milo were less concerned with leaving evidence of their presences.
