Adventure Pack
Ruffers, Tozai, Rey, and Bear headed up Gregory Canyon today. It was sparsely traveled. Bear greeted one other dog while he was off leash, after I called Tozai over so they wouldn't swarm and overwhelm the new friend. Bear greeted very politely and then followed the new friend down the trail toward the rest of us. Rey and Tozai whined a bit as the dog briefly paused by the pack before continuing on down the trail.
Variety Pack
Lou, Carl, Dylan, Teo, and Alfie walked around Wonderland Lake this afternoon with a hand from Jen. The overcast weather made for a comfortable outing despite the route not having much shade. We avoided going into Wonderland Lake because the algae is blooming all over it right now. Everyone pulled over to sniff around a lot of times along the way. We also pulled over to give Teo some distance from other dogs who passed by on the trail. He is still struggling to maintain composure when there are distractions that catch his interest, but he is definitely walking more calmly most of the time.
