Monday Pack Activities (6/8/2026)

Adventure Pack
Bear, Tozai, Rey, and Ruffers enjoyed breaks in the shade on their hike through Chautauqua Meadow and Gregory Canyon. It wasn't all that hot out but dogs were feeling the sun. It was pretty busy at Chautauqua today, and everybody very politely moved to the side of the trail with me whenever other hikers came through. Tozai got a little pat on the head from one, which he was happy about. Rather than lingering behind like usual, Ruffers led the way back through Chautauqua Meadow on our return leg, occasionally checking over her shoulder to make sure the pack was still following.
Variety Pack
Carl and Lou walked around Wonderland Lake after a brief thunderstorm passed through. The afternoon was full of animal sightings. First, we saw one rabbit after another as we trekked the north side of the pond. After that, we came across a horse with a rider on the trail along the north side. Then, there was a herd of deer hanging out in the tall grass along the south side. Carl and Lou were curious about them and Carl watched them especially intently, but neither pulled or barked.
