Adventure Pack
We started up the mountain at The Peoples' Crossing but turned back early when the some came out from behind the clouds and started beating on us. Carl tested the waters on a small ledge at the bottom of the stone steps at Eben G. Fine Park while his packmates got right in. Bear gets so happy when he's in the water and shows it with his playful head tosses. Tozai and Rey were tamer in their enjoyment but happily lingered in the creek until I spurred the group on.
Variety Pack
Sanni, Lou, Alfie, and Kona strolled Boulder Creek Path at an easy pace. Sanni, Alfie, and Lou all stopped to sniff and mark the way frequently. Kona didn't do so much marking, but she did her share of sniffing. Kona was drawn toward passing dogs along the way. She didn't bark or lunge; she just steadily pulled in their directions as they went by. Sanni sometimes whimpered a bit about them. Lou and Alfie took them in stride.
