Adventure Pack

Tozai and Bear were eager to splash around together in Silver Lake Ditch on our way up Anemone Trail. Ruffers ambled down to the water after taking her time sniffing the foliage on the bank. Rey opted to stay dry today. The dogs poked along, sniffing here and there, with Ruffers bringing up the rear. We came across a half-dozen magpies hanging out on some log fencing. The dogs all remained calm, which especially surprised me in the case of Rey, who has often pounced at birds in the past.

Variety Pack

Carl was as excited as ever to announce to his entire office my arrival, after going a couple weeks without pack activities. Archie was also very excited to be among his packmates again after a long hiatus. Sanni and Archie hopped and wrestled around with each other a bit beforehand, but maintained composure while we were out on the walk. The cooler turn to the weather has been great for Dylan, who has been sitting out on the hotter summer days. While Archie was much calmer than he has been in the past, he couldn't help but try to mount Lou, Alfie, and my leg a few times. Lou and Alfie didn't react at all to the incursions, but Archie backed off of it as soon as I addressed him.
