Adventure Pack

Racer, Arlo, Griff, and Rey headed to Shanahan Ridge today. There are a lot of piles of horse manure at Shanahan Ridge lately, and the dogs thankfully haven't been overly interested in them. Griff started holding his front right paw up and limping at one point. I checked his paw and didn't see anything at first. He took a few normal steps but then started holding it up again. Upon closer inspection, I discovered a tiny sliver of a needle in his pad and removed it. Arlo was very interested in the operation, so I had to work around his probing nose.

Variety Pack

Carl has gotten very demanding about his desire to start fetching as soon as we get to the dog park. Thankfully, there was a tennis ball not far from the gate, so he wasn't barking for long. Tozai found a friend named Mack with whom he wrestled for a good, long while. Dylan was in a wandering mood, and headed off to sniff around on his own for a bit. He returned to where the rest of us were hanging out, at the center of the park, just to pester Mack's mom for the treat she had in her pocket. When Mack had to go, Tozai made some new friends who were more into running than wrestling, and they had a great time bounding across the park together. Carl hardly took a break from fetch the entire time.
