Adventure Pack

Griff, Rey, Arlo, and Racer were all very interested in the dwindling snowbank in front of the wood branch wall that has been put up to block off an old shortcut through part of Shanahan Ridge. They spent a good, long while checking it out. Arlo found a random stick from the trail a short while later and flaunted it proudly. Rey gave it a quick sniff but didn't attempt to take it. Griff and Racer weren't impressed with Arlo's find, or played it very cool if they were.

Variety Pack

Tozai, Carl, and Dylan were all antsy to get into Valmont Dog Park this afternoon, and I took a moment to get them to settle down a couple notches before letting them through the second gate. Tozai found various friends to run and wrestle with. There was one Golden Retriever mix named Sonny (I think) who was very excited and intense as he tried to insert himself into a wrestle session Tozai was having with another dog. Sonny's energy drew Dylan in, and Dylan was so worked up that he actually started jumping around after Sonny. Carl was accompanied by a couple different dogs during his fetching. The first was a one-eyed little guy who looked like he could have been a relative of our pack member Buddy. Then, a Pit Bull named Sophia started racing him for the ball. Carl came away with it most of the time, but then Sophia held onto it for a while once she actually beat Carl to it.
