Adventure Pack

I was surprised at how willing the pack was to linger in the sun of Chautauqua Meadow en route to the shade of Gregory Canyon. Once we made it to the water, Arlo lay down and took a long break while Racer got a drink. Griff and Rey just crossed the stream and hung out by the nearby tree. We didn't go that far up the mountain, since everyone was taking their sweet time on the way there. Arlo made sure we took the detour to the stream again on our way back, as well. Griff surprised me by running around the meadow more than Rey on the return leg.

Variety Pack

Teo, Rey, Lou, Carl, and Ruffers headed to Bear Creek Greenway for their afternoon stroll, with a hand from Jen so I could focus on managing Teo as he still needs some work to be pack-ready. Ruffers and Rey were eager to head into shaded stretches along the way, and reluctant to leave them. Carl and Lou just followed along. Teo was very aware of the bicyclists, and tried lunging towards a few. He whined intensely whenever we went by another dog - on the path, or in neighboring yards. He did a good job of recovering and getting back to walking normally, though, which was a big improvement over how it was when handling him a few months ago.
