Adventure Pack

It was great seeing the dogs today, after 2 weeks without pack activities! Griff whined as he lay down in front of me for belly rubs. Rey wiggled and spun around with an extra dose of excitement. Arlo and Racer heard me coming, and stared out the glass front door with smiles on their faces as I approached. Tozai also heard me coming, and made sure to grab the nearest sandal after he let out a woof from inside. I wonder whether the woof was to alert the household to my presence outside, or to alert me to his presence inside - maybe both? The pack headed to Boulder Creek since it was a pretty hot day. Arlo and Tozai splashed and dropped into play-bows with each other while they were in the water. Rey and Racer waded out to the deepest waters they could reach, and almost dragged me in with them. Griff just got in, got wet, and got out. Griff and Arlo marked a lot of bushes and tree trunks along the path, and the others sometimes congregated to check out those spots for themselves. Altogether, it was a wonderful return to the pack routine!
