Adventure Pack

Arlo, Imogene, Griff, and Racer headed to Chautauqua for their hike with overcast skies and a light mist in the air. Imogene was proud of a stick she found along the way, and danced around with it for a while.

This display inspired Arlo to seek out a stick of his own, and then Imogene went crazy jumping

all around him with excitement over his find. Griff and Racer did not involve themselves in the shenanigans. On the way down the mountain, Racer happily got a pat on the head from a hiker we passed who was admiring the pack.

Variety Pack

The Valmont Dog Park was full of playful dogs today, so Tozai was busy romping with them the whole time. Carl took a few short breaks from fetching to sniff hello with some of the other dogs. A couple of them ran alongside him once or twice, but they mostly left him to his routine, which I think he was happy about. Whenever other dogs run with him, once he races to get to the ball first, he just eyes the other dogs warily and waits for them to give him space before returning. Lumi sniffed around, lounged in various places, and then had a couple bouts of intense racing around amidst the many other dogs. One little guy particularly enjoyed Lumi and climbed all over him while Lumi was lying down.
