Tuesday Pack Activities (10/14/2025)

Bonus Pack

Teo and Dylan walked to Wonderland Lake together this afternoon. Dylan poked around in the grass here and there, and Teo would sometimes take a break from whining and looking around frantically, to follow Dylan's example and put his nose to work for a minute.

Adventure Pack

Racer, Arlo, Imogene, and Griff hiked across Chautauqua today. The fall weather made for a very comfortable hike. Griff and Imogene mostly explored together while they were off leash, but sometimes Imogene would wander a bit further or linger behind a bit longer. Imogene had a trip in her gait at one point, and I found a small pebble wedged between her pads. Arlo followed behind Griff to sniff and mark spots in the tall grass, compete with kicking up dirt in a way that mirrored his elder packmate. Racer had her own agenda of places to sniff and forewent the dirt-kicking.

Variety Pack

Little Viv followed Carl around the house, happy to have another little to befriend, before we headed out for the pack walk. Carl tolerated the attention but wasn't particular interested in Viv. Joined by Tozai, Lumi, Aldo, and Lou, they took a trip around Wonderland Lake. Tozai has had a habit of leaning over to try to sniff hello with every passing person. Since not everyone necessarily wants a big dog's nose shoved at them (weirdos), I think I'll start consistently walking Tozai on my right, so he isn't in a position to do that. Lumi took his time sniffing around in the grass after pulling off to the side at several points along the way. Aldo did a good job walking in formation with the pack, especially considering he's only been on a couple of our pack outings before. Lou was our reliable caboose, bringing up the rear as she typically likes to do.
