Adventure Pack

Imogene, Griff, Arlo, and Racer especially took their times walking through Chautauqua Meadow today. Each of them wanted to stop many times, and whenever one of the started sniffing, everybody else had to check out the area as well. Griff and Imogene didn't wander far when they went off leash. Racer became ravenous for grass at one point and pulled over several times to tear up what she could find, but then her stomach seemed to settle without vomiting. The pack got a few comments today about how well-behaved they were.

Variety Pack

Dylan, Carl, Lumi, and Tozai were all very excited to go to the dog park this afternoon. Lumi and Tozai pulled as we approached the gate, and then Dylan and Carl started barking at the Husky who came to greet us. Carl found a tennis ball before too long and was off to the races playing fetch. Tozai headed off to make new friends. Lumi and Dylan sniffed along the perimeter fencing. Carl actually took a brief break from fetching so he could sniff hello with a Miniature Australian Shepherd who came over to him. Dylan followed me around as I kept tabs on Tozai and Lumi, who were drawn to opposite ends of the park. Lumi decided to climb the big tree in the southeast corner of the park. I had him come back down when he started to venture out on a limb, and then he sprinted all around, proud of his own adventurous spirit. Tozai ended up running and wrestling with a number of dogs, and there was one in particular with whom he especially hit it off. The two of them spent a long time playing on the north end of the park.
