Bonus Pack

Blu, Milo, Gidget, and Dylan went for a neighborhood stroll this morning. Blu and Dylan were both on the same page about stopping to sniff every budding bush along the way. Milo and Gidget happily stood by and waited, only joining in for some of the investigations here and there.

Adventure Pack

Racer walked in the ditch the whole way up Bluebell Road. Imogene, Arlo, and Griff joined her for a few stops, but mostly kept to the gravel road. The bat and butterfly were at it again over the stream on the way to Mesa Trail. This time, they were flying low in front of us, below my eye level. The dogs didn't react to the low swoops, as they were preoccupied with getting a drink from the stream. The rest of the hike was pretty quiet. A hiker commented on how well the pack got along together, and I told him how they've been hiking together for years.

Variety Pack

Bear, Carl, Alfie, and Tozai headed to Goose Creek Greenway. There wasn't any prairie dog activity in the fields by the path today, but Alfie got very worked up about a rabbit he saw from inside the packmobile before the walk. After that bit of excitement, the rest of the walk was calm and relaxing. We kept on the move pretty steadily today with few distractions. There was a brief moment on the return leg when Tozai jumped into Bear to try to stir up some trouble like the young pup he still is, but Bear didn't react and Tozai settled down quickly.
