Adventure Pack

Arlo took notice of a herd of deer in the woods just as we made our way up the hill to Mesa Trail. Racer and Imogene didn't see the deer, but their noses were drawn to the edge of the trail where they had just crossed. Griff didn't seem to notice them at all. On the return leg, Arlo was on the lookout for the deer as we passed through that stretch of trail again. Racer and Imogene again started to sniff around. Griff remained either oblivious or disinterested.

Variety Pack

Dylan joined in beside Tozai and Carl as they ran into Valmont Dog Park upon first entry. Tozai continued on to the center of the park, where he immediately found a few dogs who were happy to chase him. Dylan stalled out after about 20 yards in, and then headed to the fenceline to do some sniffing. Carl ran around until we came to the first tennis ball. We went through two that were damaged and didn't roll or bounce well, then settled on one that was intact. Tozai ended up in a long wrestle session with a dog who looked like a Lab/Pitbull mix while Carl played fetch and Dylan made his rounds to greet everybody. At one point, a Husky came over and started bark-howling at Carl and play-bowing. Carl was intimidated by the intensity of the Husky's focus on him. Tozai came to his rescue by coming over and drawing the Husky away to play with him instead.
