Adventure Pack

Racer, Imogene, Griff, and Arlo had a shorter pack hike on the Red Rocks Spurs at The Peoples' Crossing today. Pack activities started late after a vet visit was required for a boarder and then I had to go hunting for my misplaced phone. Once we made it to the trail, the dogs were all smiles as they hopped out of the packmobile. Without the ditch to check out, Racer's sniffing alongside the trail was at normal levels - which still tends to involve more pausing to sniff around than any other pack member. Griff and Arlo took turns marking tufts of tall grass, back and forth, sometimes re-marking the same spot after the other. Imogene trotted along happily in place. She did the least sniffing and marking of the group, but still got her rounds in.

Variety Pack

Lumi, Carl, Scarlet, and Tozai headed to Bear Creek Greenway for their afternoon stroll. Scarlet was all over the place at the beginning, trying to figure out her place in formation. She eventually settled in beside Carl. The whole pack was very interested in a couple noisy magpies in the nearby tree when we stopped for a pack photo. After that, Lumi enjoyed a good, long roll in the grass. Surprisingly, Tozai did not take the opportunity to turn it into a wrestle session. He just stood by and watched as Lumi enjoyed himself. Tozai enjoyed chewing on some twigs in the field at Martin Park as we made our way back. There was an ample selection for him to choose from, and he did a lot of taste tests.
